MANI / HANDS
Le mani mi hanno sempre affascinato, forse perche' raccontano piu' di quanto pensiamo. Mani che creano, suonano, scrivono ... ma le mani che chiedono elemosina sono quelle che mi hanno colpito piu' di tutte: raccontano una storia dura, essenziale, che passa spesso sotto gli occhi senza essere vista. Tutte, a modo loro, mi hanno lasciato qualcosa.
Hands have always fascinated me, maybe because they tell more than we think. Hands that create, play, write ... but the hands that beg for alms have struck me most of all: they tell a hard, essential story, which often passes under the eyes without being seen. They all, in their own way, left me something.
